ACCESS FOR CATALAN AND SPANISH PATIENTS

To schedule a preliminary visit you must have a referral form signed by your primary care physician. For gynaecological check-ups and paediatric visits you can book a time directly through Hospital Admissions.

At Hospital de Cerdanya we attend people covered by public health systems, friendly societies and private patients. If you are covered by a friendly society or insurance company, you must bring the paperwork stipulated in accordance with the company’s requirements.

ACCESS FOR FRENCH PATIENTS

To see a specialist it is advisable to previously visit your local doctor (médecin de ville) or attending physician (médecin traitant), who can assess which specialist or diagnostic test is suitable. For gynaecological check-ups and paediatric visits you can book a time directly through Hospital Admissions.

Where do I go?

To the Admissions counter in the main foyer. First enter your healthcare card in the slot of the queue machine located to the left of the reception desk then take the ticket which will indicate the waiting room and your number in the queue. You will be advised when it is your turn through a display panel that also emits a beep.

What papers must I take?

  • Referral letter.
  • Information on any medication you are taking, where applicable.
  • Information on the examinations you have undergone, where applicable.
  • ID documents and healthcare card (more information HERE)
  • Card from your friendly society or insurance company, where applicable

Monitoring visits and tests

Don’t forget to stop off at the Appointments Desk when you leave the consulting room in order to arrange your next visit.

What happens if I have to change the date of my visit?

If you have to make a change to your scheduled visit or test you can do so by emailing us at adm@hcerdanya.eu (link sends e-mail) or by phoning 972 65 7777  from 9 am to 7 pm Monday to Thursday and 9 am to 2 pm Friday.

Please notify us of any changes or cancellations regarding visits with enough time for the appointment to be given to another person.
